The door is always open to snowbirds! Although this week it’s gotten down into the mid-40s at night!!!! That’s about as bad as it ever gets here.
This was taken at Carpinteria Beach. It’s my favorite because it really is this empty and the tiny town is so low-key. Although we saw something on this beach that was a bit disconcerting. I’ll send you that photo. It’s NSFW!

Yes, this is a most wonderful beach, with a seal rookery and a friendly town nearby. It is my favorite beach in Southern California.
