Oil rigs are all along the coast in the drive north from Los Angeles. I think I counted eight while sitting on the beach this day. Meanwhile, a pelican is about to have lunch.

Me too! It seems to me that the ocean could provide us with plenty of energy from the sun & wind & waves, without drilling for oil.
