“For this challenge, document the movement (or stillness) of a street: tell a story with your snapshot, capture a scene that reveals a bit about a place, or simply show us where you live — or a path you often take.”  See other submissions for “Street Life” here.

  1. Texting while driving is likely safer behind a horse than an auto.
Man on left: “Do you like this one?”
Man on right: “Mmm… no… too much green…”

    1. You have made the perfect caption for this picture, Eric! You are so smart & quick & witty — do you enter The New Yorker’s cartoon caption contest? You should!

      1. Thanks M… I’ll look up the new Yorker contest…
being a photographer, I try to find all that might be in a photo and take it from there.
People absorbed in their electronic gadgetry has become so pervasive they can be a hazard nowadays; and have become something to watch out for, one never knows which way they will bolt. Other than that it’s a great source of entertainment…

  2. this thread was so wonderful. I cannot believe I didn’t notice the ties; I think I was stuck on the cellphones. Everyone in the picture on a cellphone?! Ugh. Yeah, the horse probably has one, too…… great photo.

Looking forward to your thoughts
