I agree — very spooky. The fog horns were blaring every 5 seconds. (And it was kind of scary driving the road to reach the top of the hill to get the shot.)
I’m with you… always was one for the beach on foggy day! Now I’ll age myself, but did you ever see the extreme low-budget film called The Crawling Eye? The fog coming down the mountain… lol – as kids, every time we had a foggy day we’d remind each other of the crawling eye! Obviously made an impression! ~SueBee
I was watching those low-budget movies at the drive-in too, but I must have missed that one. Even so, I would be creeped out to actually walk on a beach on a foggy day. Prefer to be in my car. With the doors locked. Trying not to imagine who is out there.
I think I would be a little nervous about driving into that.
Spooky.

Great shot of the famous San Francisco fog! It’s thick as soup, isn’t it. ~SueBee

I love that fog. It’s energetic. It’s moody. It’s scarey. It changes by the second.
